It is our great pleasure to invite you to join us for the Mediterrenean Retina III Meeting to be held June 13-15, 2008 in Istanbul. The Meeting is designed to meet the needs of vitreoretinal specialists. It will include the participation of experts from throughout the world with particular invitation extended to the members of the American Society of Retina Specialists (ASRS), European Vitreoretinal Society (EVRS), Euretina, Retina Society, Macula Society, Club Jules Gonin and the Turkish Ophthalmological Society Vitreoretinal and Retina Branch.
The meeting is designed to take place in an atmosphere of relaxed casual surroundings. Particular attention will be devoted to cover areas of medical retina and vitreoretinal surgery. All papers presented will be discussed. The meeting is particularly geared to encourage free exchange of information and ideas in a formal and informal setting. Scientific papers, scientific posters, panel discussions on controversial issues and techniques, medical case and surgical case conference(video case presentations and discussion) and award lectures are included in the program.
It will take place in Istanbul, a crossroad of cultures and civilizations. Social and cultural activities are planned. Optional tours in Istanbul and Turkey can be arranged through our meeting travel agent.
